I got involved with Canine Companions in 2024 and became a first-time Puppy Raiser for MAISIE III.
Maisie is an “M” litter puppy DOB 8/30/24. She is a yellow Labrador/Golden Retriever puppy in the Canine Companions' 'future service dog' program.
The mission of Canine Companions is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs at NO COST to recipients. The organization fulfills this mission by carefully breeding, raising, and training dogs to support adults, children, and veterans with disabilities. The value of this partnership is significant – each service dog team represents an estimated lifetime investment of approximately $50,000!
I am raising money to support Canine Companions mission during the fundraising event “DogFest” North Central Region, New Albany OH on September 21,2025.
