I'm participating in DogFest Northwest because I love dogs and know the joy they bring to our lives each and every day. I also believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.

Leading up to DogFest Northwest, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. Thank you!

Lavender works very hard eeryday at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, CA. She helps patient heal and recover by helping them go for walks, playing fetch and tug while challenging their balance and coordination. She provides sensory and awareness by approaching patients on their affected side of the body and she does so much more!! She brings smiles, love and oh so much joy to everyone who sees her walking throughout the hospital and upon entering patient rooms. She has been the perfect addition to physical therapy at John Muir Medical Center. I am so honored and proud to have the gift of working beside her everyday!!
