My Personal Fundraising Page
I'm participating in DogFest Northwest by fundraising in memory of Breeder Minerva (8/20/12-8/23/24). I am forever grateful to the Hajis' Family who dedicated 18 months to raising her and selflessly sent her on her journey to becoming a service dog breeder.
She was an amazing mother, bringing 38 future service dogs into the world. In her retirement, she worked as a Canine Companion's Therapy Dog bringing joy to students, children and patients. She was also an amazing pet, who has left a huge hole in each family member's heart. I was lucky enough to raise one of her pups (Elphie, now a Hearing Dog) and grand pup (Honora, now a Service Dog), and seeing her great genes at work. I have also seen first hand the independence they bring to their partner's lives each and every day. For this reason, I believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Leading up to DogFest Northwest, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. Thank you!
