Last year, with the incredible support of family, friends, and compassionate donors, Championing Independence with Odin's Heroes raised an amazing $2,200 for Canine Companions! Your contributions made a significant difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, and we are thrilled to continue this journey in 2025.

This year, we’re back with even more determination to empower lives and honor the legacy of Odin, my beloved Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. While Odin was not a service animal, his unwavering love and support inspired this cause. Through this fundraiser, we channel that inspiration toward helping others experience the transformative bond of service dogs.

Canine Companions leads the service dog industry, providing expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities—all at no cost to the recipients. These incredible dogs also work in healthcare, criminal justice, and educational settings, spreading independence, joy, and hope wherever they go.

Your support matters more than ever. Whether it's $5 or $1,000, every donation brings us closer to empowering lives and fostering independence. Here’s how your contribution can make an impact:

  • $25 provides service dog vests to canine teams.
  • $50 covers one month of food for a dog in professional training.
  • $100 ensures expert medical and wellness care for a Canine Companions dog.
  • $500 supports dedicated follow-up services for a human-canine team.
  • $1,000 provides food for three dogs during their entire service dog training period.
