Donations will honor the memory of Thomas Stafford, beloved brother of longtime volunteer and puppy raiser Tracy Stafford, and loving friend to Debbie Bergendahl. Born in February 1953, Thomas grew up in Vancouver, Washington, where his childhood home overlooked Royal Oaks Golf Course—sparking a lifelong passion for the game. After attending Central Washington College, he settled in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where he ran a successful landscaping business that reflected his deep appreciation for nature and hard work. Thomas passed away in December 2024 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. His memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the mission of Canine Companions, which meant so much to his family.
