I’m participating in DogFest Seattle because I love dogs and know the joy they bring to our lives every day. I also strongly believe in the mission of Canine Companions—to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities free of charge. As a recent graduate of the program, I’m especially excited to kick off the school year at Moorlands Elementary with Flanagan, our facility dog, and to see the joy she will bring to our school community.
In the weeks leading up to DogFest Seattle, I am raising funds to support the life-changing mission of Canine Companions. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is truly incredible.
