Why I Support Blue Mountain Humane Society
Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,
I'm reaching out to share a cause that's incredibly close to my heart and to invite you to join me in making a tangible difference in the lives of animals in need. My journey with the Blue Mountain Humane Society began with a deep-rooted love for animals, a passion that has only grown stronger with time.
Before becoming a part of the BMHS team, I volunteered, drawn by their unwavering commitment to providing care and support to underprivileged animals. This dedication resonated with my personal values, making my transition to an employee a natural extension of my commitment to animal welfare.
One of the most heartwarming experiences when I first started working here that solidified my support for BMHS was my time with Slayter, a dog who faced significant health challenges. Slayter stayed by my desk during his recovery, and in that time, he stole my heart. Witnessing his journey to finding a forever home was a profound reminder of the impact we can make.
Why BMHS Stands Out
What sets BMHS apart, beyond our amazing staff and all the animals we help, is our in-house veterinary clinic, equipped with a full-time veterinarian and dedicated support staff. This facility allows us to offer preventitive care, including crucial procedures like spaying and neutering, not only to shelter pets but also to animals belonging to income-qualified members of our community. This critical service underscores the importance of your support through donations, volunteering, and advocacy.
My Goal
As the Communications Manager and a fervent advocate for animal welfare, my goal is to expand our outreach, attract more supporters, and ultimately enhance our capacity to care for more animals. With your help, we can envision and work towards a future where our facility can grow to meet the increasing needs of our community and its animals.
How You Can Help
Your support can make a real difference. Here's how:
- $20 can provide essential vaccinations for one animal.
- $50 can microchip two shelter pets.
- $100 can cover the cost of spaying or neutering, helping to prevent overpopulation.
Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to our mission of providing care and finding loving homes for these animals.
Join Me in This Cause
