Saving the kitties and puppies of the Walla Walla Valley — what better reason does anyone need? Since I joined the BMHS team in 2022, I have had a backstage pass to the greatest organization in Walla Walla. Our staff and volunteers work harder than anyone else I know. They face the joys and the challenges and the sorrows of animal welfare work with grace and passion and COMPASSION every single day, and I am in awe of them all. What better way is there to show support for this hard work and for the mission of BMHS than to donate to the cause? Your support goes directly to help us care for the dozens of cats and dogs we shelter. Team Merlin is named for my family's BMHS rescue husky, who I affectionally call Merl Norman. Merlin was a long-stay, 2-year-old with some behavioral needs and a lot of very high energy. We adopted him in the fall of 2022, and he's now a very dear, very fun, and still very active member of our family. Help me and Merlin raise funds to save other pets like Merlin at BMHS. Thank you!
