I am lucky enough to be blessed with everything I could ever want or need in my life, and I know that this is unfortunately not the case for so many. So, for my 17th birthday, rather than getting gifts from my family and friends, I wanted to be able to give to those who are truly in need through a charity I believe in,
This summer, I had the opportunity to visit Ayo's center in Gyumri for children with special needs. I was delighted by the positive impact and change this charity had on those who needed it most in my homeland.
I ask that, if you are able, you donate to AYO however much you were planning on spending on a gift for me. AYO is a charity that is 100 cents on the dollar; 100% of what you donate will go to providing aid in Armenia, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to work with this charity.
