Hello! My name is Isabelle Stewart and I am thrilled to be running the 2023 Boston Marathon for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism! I am currently a sophomore nursing student at Boston College. I found my love for running in high school and I am so excited to run my first marathon next year!
The Boston Marathon holds a significant role in BC campus life and unites the entire school. Last year, we were fortunate enough to experience two marathons. While watching I was incredibly inspired by all of the runners and their different motivations to complete the marathon. Now, I plan to run for the Flutie Foundation to support a great cause and fufill my goal of running a marathon.
The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation helps individuals with autism and their families live life to the fullest! The Flutie Foundation helps over 10,000 individuals and families affected by autism a year. They improve the lives of so many and stride towards creating a world where people with autism can lead a productive life where they are included, respected, and actively engaged in their communities. My goal by running the Boston Marathon is to help spread awareness about the Flutie Foundation while also raising money to support their mission.
In order to qualify to run in the Boston Marathon in April 2023, I have set myself the goal of raising $10,000. Please help me get to the starting line and make your donation today.
