About me!

My name is Hanna Adams and I am excited to be running my fifth Boston Marathon! I will run as a qualified Adaptive runner, and am thrilled to join the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation Team again this spring.

I was born with cerebral palsy, right-sided hemiplegia, and learning disabilities. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that I can go the distance if I set one goal at a time and work hard every day to improve. I attended the Threshold Program at Lesley University that helps people with disabilities including cerebral palsy and autism. Thriving in this program with other young adults facing challenges, I learned that I can make a difference, reach my dreams, and go even further each year. I know that people with different abilities can build on their strengths and set their goals high. Running is the place I feel strong, confident and capable. I put the work into training with my Flutie teammates each week, prioritize my running goals, and cross the Finish Line every year! This coming year, 2023 will be my thirteenth marathon and I feel honored to once again be a part of the DOUG FLUTIE JR. FOUNDATION FOR AUTISM Team. I am proud to run strong knowing together we “Can Do 26.2!’

I dedicate my training and run this spring to helping people with autism build on their strengths and feel the exhilaration of success. I am truly grateful to be part of an awesome team of dedicated hard working athletes. I know with your help we can and do make a difference for people with autism and their families.  Please consider making a donation towards my fundraising goal. Each dollar I raise goes directly to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc. Together, we are BOSTON STRONG!
