2022 Disney Marathon Weekend Highlights

2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Running has been part of my life for over 30 years now.  Its something that I really enjoy doing almost everyday.  Started with just running to stay in shape then progressed to 5K's, 10k's and sprint triathlon's but really do not enjoy swimming.  So, it was time to increase my distance to half marathons then to marathons.  I truly love the challenge of long distance running.

Last year, I was fortunate enough to runDisney with the Dopey Challenge, which is 5k, 10k, half marathon then the full marathon in four days.  Which by the way, was a blast!! Can't wait to do it again!!  Which brings me to this year.  I was not able to get into runDisney for the Dopey Challenge but was able to register for the Goofy Challenge. The Goofy Challenge is the half marathon and next day the full marathon.

So, I will be running my Dopey Challenge, just won't receive the Dopey metal but I am so fortunate enough to run for Doug Flutie, Jr Foundation for Autism.  With the Flutie Foundation will be able to run the 5k and 10k and also while running raising some money for of course, children and their families!!  It makes me feel incredible to do something I love which is running and helping families at the same time!!

I hope you may help me out on my next adventure and give to an incredible cause that puts families first!!

Thank you!!
