On February 24, 2019 I will be running my first Disney Princess Half Marathon.  Together with an amazing group of ladies, we are running for one of my oldest friends Holly, and her daughter Sophia.

Sophia was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome at the age of 2.  Rett Syndrome is a neuralogical disorder that mainly affects girls. Each of us take the simple things like walking, eating and talking for granted each day.  However, these girls once diagnosed will never be able to walk on their own, verbally talk, use their hands to feed themselves...ect.  Most can only speak through their eyes.  Each day is an incredible challenge for both those affected and their families that want nothing more than to cure them.

With our support, a cure is possible!  Research has proven once protein levels are back to normal, symptoms subside.  However we need the funds in order to continue to make this research a reality.  Please considering donating whatever you can.
