Every October our community comes together to celebrate people with Down syndrome. We consider the walk a "big party" with a purpose. People with Down syndrome deserve the best life has to offer just like the rest of us. Quality educational programs, a stimulating home environment, good health care and positive support from family, friends and the community enable people with Down syndrome to lead fulfilling and productive lives. The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin - Fox Cities' mission is to make sure this is a reality for all people with DS in the Fox Cities. The walk is our one and only fundraiser each year. Thanks to it's past success, DSAW-Fox Cities is able to provide a long list of supports for people with DS and their families.
