Having a child with Down syndrome has changed me. I didn't understand what unconditional love was until the day my baby girl (Lillie) was born. My dream of having a "normal" child was gone. I now have new dreams. I want people to look at  my daughter not as a child with Down syndrome but rather as a girl filled with life, love, hope and dreams of her own. I want people to accept her, value her and to include her. Everyday she is learning new things and she never fails to amaze me. I am thankful for the support of EarlyIntervention, OT/PT, Speech/Lanquage, Doctors and all the amazing teachers at her public school. It is my goal for other children with Down syndrome to receive the same support. Please donate to Team Lillie and help other kids like her.
