I can't believe Logan is 8 years old and going into 2nd grade!!  It feels like just yesterday that I decided to take a chance and go to a park playdate to meet a few other moms with a child with Down syndrome.  Logan was about a month old at the time and I knew that I was going to need some support from other parents who knew what I was going through.  That day, I met some moms who are now my best friends.  Knowing how valuable making those connections was, we came together and decided to form a group that could grow and reach more families in the Fox Cities.  We also knew that Down syndrome awareness was going to be key to our childrens' success in life, so the first Fox Cities Down Syndrome Awareness Walk was created in 2010.  Over the past 6 years, DSAW-Fox Cities and the Walk have made their mark in the Fox CIties area and with your support at the walk, we will continue to make a difference in our community!  Please consider walking and/or donating this year!   Melanie Baeten, Logan's mom  :)
