Hello family and friends!

Here we are again to celebrate and raise awareness for Down syndrome!

This is our 6th year participating.  Every year just keeps on getting stronger and more enjoyable.  If you are able to join us and walk or just make a monetary donation, your support is deeply appreciated.  Without supoort from our family, friends and community, our event wouldn't be possible. 

Our Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin-Fox Cities raises money from this event yearly and uses it to support local families, like ours, in many forms.  They sponsor social events and workshops, provide grants and scholarships to our children, and help to educate us and our community. 

Tyler as many of you know is 6 now!  He is growing fast! Somedays it is very hard to keep up with his energy and excitement.  He is starting kindergarten full time and is included with all of of his peers.  We wouldn't have it any other way.  He continues to grow with his speech, occupational and physical therapies.  There is so much that Tyler is able to understand, but he has a very hard time getting it out verbally.  Because of this speech is our main focus.  Again this summer Tyler was able to receive speech therapy through a grant from the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin - Fox Cities.  We are so very lucky to have this opportunity for him when he is not able to participate in other programs because of his disability.
