Hi Friends! It's hard to believe another year has past! This will be our 5th DSAW Walk.  Addie turned 4 this past June, and is in school every day this year for 60-90 minutes depending on the day.  It is a beautiful transition for her between 3K and 4k as we work to build her verbal expression skills and stamina.  She is excelling in many areas, and loves her teacher(s). This summer, Tim built a playground at our house from a kit (gifted by family- thank you!) and we were able to have a safety fence installed,  with some support from DSAW funds. Those two things have largely factored into the remarkable growth Addie shows with her gross motor skills and confidence! She was also able to participate in some music therapy classes this spring because of a participation scholarship from DSAW. Our girl LOVES music!

Addie just had a terrific cardiology checkup- they dont want to see her until next year.  She has a sleep studied scheduled in December to assess Sleep Apnea and  overall respiratory things possibly affecting her speech/verbal development.
