Our older sister, Alexis, was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome at 17 months old. This fundraiser benifits the Dravet Syndrome Foundation, which supports those and their families affected with this syndrome. Alexis suffers from uncontrolled seizures, developmental delay, gait and balance issues, and requires constant supervision. Dravet affects every aspect of her life. In spite of her struggles, Alexis is a bright and happy person, who enjoys being with her family and friends. She enjoys puzzles, stacking, and loves when we read her picture books.
