Talia was diagnosed with an intractable seizure disorder known as Dravet Syndrome at 9 months old. She is on many medfications to help control the seizures however there are breakthrough seizures.  Talia is a very happy teenager who loves cooking, playing games, going to school, singing in the choir, dancing and art. 

I have chosen to celebrate our birthdays by raising awareness about Dravet Syndrome with this fundraising page.  The Dravet Syndrome Foundation is a research foundation that also helps families that cannot afford the expensive medications.
