Our son Cody was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome at just a few months old. It changed everything. Since then, seizures, hospital stays, and scary moments have become part of our everyday life. On top of that, Cody, my husband, and our older son Josh all live with Long QT Syndrome, a heart condition that adds another layer of uncertainty and care.

Despite it all, Cody is full of light, laughter, and resilience. Watching him fight through each day with a smile on his face is what inspires us to keep going and to do something that matters.

Through my small cottage bakery, I started The Heart of Oir Home, a part of my “Baking with a Purpose” mission. It’s a space where bread becomes more than food, it becomes a way to raise awareness and support causes close to our hearts. All proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation to support research, resources, and hope for families like ours.
