As many of you know, the Downtown Women's Center (DWC) here in Los Angeles is an organization that has played a significant role in my life for the last 12+ months. Through our monthly cooking clubs, we've been able to give back to both the DWC and the community around us, in an effort to help end women's homelessness here in LA.

What you may not know is that the DWC is celebrating their 40 year anniversary this year! That’s 40 years dedicated to serving and advocating for the needs of women in Skid Row.

For 40 years, the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) has been helping women experiencing homelessness in downtown Los Angeles secure housing and reach personal stability. But the need has only grown greater alongside our changing city. DWC is now reaching beyond Skid Row to help even more women in need.

For 40 days, I’ll be joining DWC to raise funds to pay rental application fees, gather welcome home kits, purchase furnishings, and cover security deposits to end women's homelessness across greater Los Angeles. My goal is to raise $2,500 from friends and family before April 22, 2018.

Help me reach my personal fundraising goal and make sure that every woman in Los Angeles is housed.
