Hi everyone! As many of you know, I work at the Downtown Women's Center (DWC), the only organization in Los Angeles that's exclusively dedicated to serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness. If you've spent time in LA, you've probably noticed that homelessness -- and housing prices -- have skyrocketed in recent years. And for too long, women have been left out of efforts to address this crisis.

For 40 years, the DWC has been helping women experiencing homelessness in downtown Los Angeles secure housing and reach personal stability. But the need has only grown greater alongside our changing city. DWC is now reaching beyond Skid Row to help even more women in need.

For 40 days, I’ll be joining DWC to raise funds to pay rental application fees, gather welcome home kits, purchase furnishings, and cover security deposits to end women's homelessness across greater Los Angeles. My goal is to raise $1000 from friends and family before April 22, 2018.
