Many of you know how important singing is to me, so much that I even sing in two different choirs. My choirs provide my social circles, and are often one of the only reasons I drag myself out of the house, because I know how essential it is for me to be surrounded by community, and for my soul to sing. My larger choir, DWC, is celebrating its 40th year anniversary this year. When it began, DWC was revolutionary in being a voice for queer social justice. Despite how far we've come, that voice is still much-needed today, in that women's RIGHTS are being taken away, and queer and transgender LIVES are being silenced, simply for existing. It takes a surprising amount of money to keep us singing, and with your help, we can spread love and community for another 40 years!
