As a PICU nurse, I see first hand the strength and resilience of families facing some of the toughest moments of their lives. Many of these families include children with autism — and I’ve come to deeply understand the unique challenges they face, both inside and outside the hospital.
But this mission is also personal. I have close family members and dear friends whose lives are touched by autism. I've seen the daily dedication it takes, the small victories that mean everything, and the ongoing need for understanding, resources, and support.
That’s why I’m running.
I’m running to raise awareness, to honor the courage of the families I care for, and to support the vital programs that make a real difference in the lives of individuals with autism. Every step I take is for them — and with your help, every dollar raised will help create a more inclusive, supportive world.
