Kris Cavin
Last April, Kris Cavin attended a "What is your Why?" workshop to determine what drives Kris and what his "purpose" is. Kris shared stories of his outpouring of community service through his photo hobby, photographing 13 varsity sports for 6 local high schools. Kris also shared how he photographed 3 local Sparrow events at Bend High, Mountainview, and Summit to spread awareness of the events, and even donate money to each. After a full seminar of sharing stories of what motivates Kris, the group determined that Kris’s "why statement" was "To connect with people in meaningful ways, and BRIGHTEN those around him"
Kris, Nala (his miniature Australian Labradoodle) and Jennifer, his wife of 28 years, moved to Bend in December of 2021 to be closer to his son Jakob, who had lived here since 2020, and create new opportunities for his daughter Tabatha once she graduated from college. Kris is a real estate professional with New Home Star, who sells homes exclusively for Hayden Homes. Kris had photographed sports in Camas for 17 years before moving to Bend under the social media handle "KCFreshInc.” Never did Kris think his sports photography hobby would balloon to what it has become, taking almost 2000 photos every week and posting them for the athletes’ families to enjoy, therefore getting the opportunity to meet the whole town!
Kris may be nervous about dancing in front of a crowd, but if it raises money and puts smiles on faces, it will all be worth it!
