Though born and raised in the Seattle area, Scott Elnes never felt like he was truly “home” until he visited Bend 12 years ago. Six months later he had packed his belongings and moved to Bend and has never looked back. Scott is actually a Meteorologist but is currently sitting in the Anchor chair over at Central Oregon Daily News, where he also writes and hosts a popular weekly feature series called, “Little Did I Know.” 

Prior to getting into television, Scott was a professional musician. Or as he puts it, “I lost a lot of money trying to play rock n’ roll for a living.” So, his first exposure to the art of dance was as the artist providing the back beat to the dancers. But, through this experience, Scott hopes to discover that whether dancer or musician, the groove always lives inside you.
