Born and raised in Oregon, Deanna has had professional dance instruction of various styles along with choreography for 14 years. Her lifetime love of dance has brought her to experience Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip/Hop, Country Swing, Country 2 Step, Waltz, Nightclub 2 Step, Salsa, Bachata and many other partner dances/styles. Her heart has always been pulled towards Hip Hop, Jazz/Jazz Funk, Country/Hip-Hop Line Dancing, and West Coast Swing. 

Video games and riding her motorcycle are Deanna’s favorite alternative pastimes to dancing, along with other outdoor activities. She loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially when there’s food involved. 

Deanna has experienced significant health complications starting from when she was a teenager; it’s one of the main reasons Sparrow Clubs holds such a special place in her heart. Because she is required to focus on her health and well-being, she spends most of her time balancing her body’s needs with her love for dance/movement. Dancing has had a tremendous positive impact in her life, which has inspired her to spread that joy to all people regardless of their own limitations.
