Ketura moved to the Rogue Valley as a teenager with her family. She met her sweetheart and future husband here. They moved to Kauai, and both graduated through the nursing program at Kauai Community College. The area called them back and they have been serving the community as registered nurses in various roles at Providence Medford Medical Center for more than 12 years. Ketura lives in Talent with her husband Dan, their two kids, Izzy & Elliott, cat Rocky and fish Rainbow. She serves as Secretary on Oregon Nurses Constituent Association 4 board that serves both Providence and Asante nurses in furthering professional development. She currently works in the perioperative department and also provides new parents support as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. In her free time, she enjoys hitting the slopes with her family, dancing west coast swing, and reading a good book. Ketura looks forward to raising awareness for Sparrows Club and (honing her…skills) learning hip hop!
