Hailey Gravitt was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Faith Lutheran High School before graduating from The University of Tennessee with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Hailey has always had a passion for storytelling, in college her adventures of broadcasting took her abroad to study at The Danish School of Media and Journalism, learning how different countries navigate news. In 2020, Hailey moved to Medford to begin her career in Broadcast journalism. Now Newswatch 12’s evening weekday anchor, Hailey has loved getting to know the people of the Rogue Valley. Some of her favorite memories working with KDRV are getting to meet viewers who share the same love for the Rogue Valley as she does. Hailey will be dusting off her dancing shoes after being a classically trained ballerina growing up. While Hailey loves Sparrow Clubs’s mission of Empowering kids to help kids and is excited to work with the organization, this is also an opportunity for her to bring out her competitive side all while dancing and having fun. When Hailey isn’t reading our local news, she’s going on walks with her Golden Doodle, Colonel, hitting a hot yoga class in Ashland, or cheering on her Tennessee Volunteer’s. Hailey loves a fun dance routine and is hoping all the contestants of Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars break a leg!
