Tazmunai Nelson is a local beauty business owner, creative, and proud mom of three who believes that confidence, connection, and a little sparkle can change everything. Raised in Central Point from the age of seven, she has been a proud resident of the Rogue Valley community ever since. After graduating from Crater High School, Tazmunai immediately pursued beauty school and has spent the last 19 years building a career she is deeply passionate about. As the owner of a nail and lash business rooted in self-care, creativity, and community, Tazmunai has created a space where people feel seen, celebrated, and empowered. She is dedicated to providing a welcoming and safe environment while supporting women through personal expression and connection. When she’s not running her business, Tazmunai is juggling school drop-offs, family movie nights, party planning, and the beautiful chaos of life with her husband, Carl Nelson, and their three daughters. While dance is outside her usual comfort zone, she is excited to challenge herself, try something new, and laugh along the way. Participating in Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars is both an honor and an opportunity for Tazmunai to give back. She is proud to support Sparrow Clubs and raise funds for an organization that empowers local children and families, while representing the community she loves.

Peter is 26 years old and has lived in the Rogue Valley his whole life. He started dancing ballroom around 14-years old and learned to love the sport. He competed many times in the Southern Oregon Youth Ballroom Competition, hosted by the Evergreen Ballroom, and placed 1st in multiple occasions... including in the 2021 Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars! Peter works for a local youth organization called Youth 71Five Ministries, and he loves supporting Sparrow Clubs and the work they do in the community. He enjoys dancing and is driven to help young people, so he is excited to be participating this year in Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars and plans to continue supporting Sparrow Clubs for years to come.
