Taysia Mendenhall is a behind-the-scenes producer at NewsWatch 12, who is very excited to step into the spotlight for a great cause! Born and raised in Idaho, Taysia moved to Medford in July 2024 after graduating from the University of Idaho. Beyond the newsroom, Taysia can often be found hiking across the Rogue Valley or reading in the sun with a cup of tea. She has been in the performing arts since childhood, playing the clarinet through college, and competing in hip-hop dance in high school. Taysia is thrilled to be joining Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars and is ready to begin raising money to support Sparrow Clubs and the families they work with.

Erica Flynn has been passionate about teaching the art of dance for the last 18 years. She began dancing at the age of three and started teaching by sixteen, dedicating her life to sharing her love for movement and expression. Trained in multiple styles—including lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, tap, voice, and pom—Erica brings a well-rounded approach to her instruction. She believes in fostering not only strong technical dancers but also confident individuals who carry the discipline, creativity, and passion learned in the studio into every aspect of their lives. As the co-owner of Inspire Dance Company alongside Bethany Anderson, Erica has helped create a space where dancers are encouraged to grow, explore, and express themselves. At IDC, she strives to instill the values of respect, perseverance, and artistry, shaping dancers who not only excel in technique but also develop into empowered and conscientious individuals.
