About Me!
Silvia McTevia brings heart, resilience, and a joyful spirit to this year’s Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars. A longtime Southern Oregon banking professional, Silvia spent many years as a mortgage originator after leading teams as a bank manager. Helping families achieve homeownership was deeply meaningful to her and reinforced her belief that financial services can truly change lives when led with care and compassion. Today, she serves as a Business Relationship Manager with Rogue Credit Union, supporting local businesses throughout the Rogue Valley. Although her current role focuses on commercial lending, Silvia has always been most fulfilled when she can make a direct difference in people’s lives. In 2026, she made a personal commitment to seek out more joy and more hands-on impact in her community. After much prayer and reflection, the opportunity to support Sparrow Clubs through dance felt like a beautiful answer. Sparrow Clubs’s mission to empower kids to help kids through compassion, kindness, and service resonates deeply with her. Silvia believes that when children learn empathy early, entire communities grow stronger. A lifelong lover of music and movement, Silvia danced ballet throughout her childhood and still believes life is better with a great soundtrack. She is honored to step onto the stage in joyful celebration and to dance in support of children and families who need hope most.
About my Hip Hop Coach!
Erica Flynn has been passionate about teaching the art of dance for the last 18 years. She began dancing at the age of three and started teaching by sixteen, dedicating her life to sharing her love for movement and expression. Trained in multiple styles—including lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, tap, voice, and pom—Erica brings a well-rounded approach to her instruction. She believes in fostering not only strong technical dancers but also confident individuals who carry the discipline, creativity, and passion learned in the studio into every aspect of their lives. As the co-owner of Inspire Dance Company alongside Bethany Anderson, Erica has helped create a space where dancers are encouraged to grow, explore, and express themselves. At IDC, she strives to instill the values of respect, perseverance, and artistry, shaping dancers who not only excel in technique but also develop into empowered and conscientious individuals.
