Erika was born and raised in Southern Oregon, with roots in Mexico. She grew up with her mom and two sisters, along with lots of family, and graduated from South Medford High School. She enjoys cooking, playing the clarinet, watching Arsenal soccer games, and spending time with her two cats, Bagheera and Chuma. She has always been a music enthusiast and loves the way music and dance come together. She works as a banker at Banner Bank and is excited to join the cause in raising money for Sparrow Clubs. She loves to dance around the office, which is why her peers knew she would be an asset to the Dancing with the Rogue Valley Stars cast. Growing up, she would participate in community service fundraisers for the Sparrow in school. Supporting this cause is important to her because it brings the community together and truly makes a difference in children’s lives.

Callasandra is beyond excited to step into the role of hip hop coach and share her passion for dance with the next generation of performers. Dance has been a huge part of Callasandra’s life for over 15 years, shaping not only her skills but also her confidence, work ethic, and love for movement. Throughout her years of training, Callasandra has had the opportunity to compete at multiple levels, gaining valuable competition experience that has taught her discipline, teamwork, and how to perform with both power and purpose. Hip hop is more than just choreography to her—it’s a way to express individuality, energy, and storytelling through movement. As a coach, Callasandra strives to create a positive and motivating environment where dancers feel supported, challenged, and confident being themselves. She believes that every dancer has something unique to bring to the floor, and her goal is to help each student grow both technically and artistically. Teaching is one of Callasandra’s greatest passions. She loves breaking down movement, watching dancers build confidence, and celebrating their progress—big and small. At the same time, she is always eager to keep learning, staying inspired by new styles, trends, and training opportunities within the dance world. Callasandra is excited to continue growing as both a coach and a dancer while helping her team work hard, have fun, and reach their full potential.
