Five years ago, our lives took an unexpected turn when my son, Harry, had his first seizure at just two months old. It is a bittersweet reality that we must always be prepared for the worst, as this insidious and life-changing disease resides in his little brain, indifferent to our hopes, fatigue, or pursuit of happiness.
