Washington State boasts extensive and lush forests, iconic mountains and free flowing rivers. Many of these landscapes still exist today thanks to conversation efforts from organizations like Washington Wild and fellow EarthShare Washington members.
Founded in 1979, Washington Wild has been the leading statewide organization to both protect and defend our wild places. Since our founding we have played a critical role in helping to protect nearly 3 million acres as Wilderness. We bring people together in the vigorous defense of our remaining wild forests, waters, and wildlife. By educating, empowering and mobilizing our communities, Washington Wild builds powerful grassroots networks that help protect wild lands and waters throughout the state.
Washington Wild is a proud member of EarthShare Washington (ESW). ESW represents a lot of different conservation groups working together to make our planet and communities better, cleaner, and greener. To recognize Earth Day we are standing together to challeng companies, schools, community groups and individuals to support the environmental community in Washington state. You can give us a hand by making a donation to our team and help out all the great charities involved!
