Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Youth Leadership Foundation. YLF builds character and a brighter future for young leaders in our Nation's Capital. They do this through mentorship, character education, engaging parents and a focus on the habits that lead to academic success. I am hoping to reach my goal during this year's Ed Smith appeal. Ed was a big part of YLF's beginning. He was instrumental is setting the course of YLF and its focus on a holistic approach to education, one in which virtue plays a big part. In his honor, we conduct an annual appeal to raise funds for the continuation of a rich legacy. This year the YLF has been given a very generous matching grant of $50,000 and every dollar contributed for this appeal can help us optimize this wonderful opportunity and provide much needed funding for our youth programs.
