Erik Hite Foundation 12th Annual Fallen Officer Memorial 5K/2 Mile Family Walk + Touch A Truck Event

We are excited to bring back our 5K and Touch the Truck Event in person this year! Join us and run or walk for those who have served, are serving now and those who have given their lives to preserve our freedoms. Our event will be fun for all ages with an official 5K for those that are competitive. We will have vendors, kids crafts, face painting, jumping castles and vehicles from various law enforcement departments and local businesses. All of the funds raised with this event will benefit the childcare center expansion capital campaign.

ABOUT THE ERIK HITE FOUNDATION

The Erik Hite Foundation is a non-profit organization established to memorialize the life and sacrifice of Tucson Police Officer Erik D. Hite, who was killed in the Line-of-Duty on June 2, 2008.

The Erik Hite Foundation supports Southern Arizona’s first responders and their families by providing extended hours childcare/early education, summer camp scholarships, and adult life skills training and counseling for challenges associated with first responder high-risk occupations.

5K begins at 8:00 AM

****1st, 2nd and 3rd place 5K awards for Men and Women****

2 Mile Walk will begin after 5K participants have started

Kids Fun Run will begin after 5K and 2 Mile Walk participants return

Touch A Truck will be available throughout the event
