I’m thrilled to be participating in A Path to Hope - Walk for a Healthy Honduras, a fundraiser supporting Carolina Honduras Health Foundation (CHHF)!
A few years ago we had a 9-year-old girl in Honduras who lost her leg in a hit-and-run accident. She was so sad and told us that children at school made fun of her. There was no way her family could ever afford the $780 for the prosthetic she desperately needed. But because of the CHHF Medical Referral Program and generous donors, she was able to receive that prosthetic and can now walk proud.
