Yesterday, I attended a seminar about the DCIS Comet Trial funded by these folks.  It was enlightening as it showed really no difference between watchful monitoring and surgery.  Except that patient's preferred the monitoring pathway, rather than a surgical pathway.  Just 2 years into the study it shows promise.  We need new treatments and strategies when it comes to DCIS and patients.
