This year I am running for the Children's Heart Foundation because I am inspired by my close friends, the Losquadro family and their daughter Gemma, who was born with a congenital heart defect. Gemma has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures in her early years of life. She is incredibly strong and resilient and hasn't let that slow her down. I am running to support Gemma, her family and all of the other children who are affected by heart problems.
The Children's Heart Foundation is a leading organization that funds research and provides support to children with heart problems. I want to help the Children's Heart Foundation continue its important work.
