Hi, my name is Matt! I was born and raised in Michigan, but have been living in Boston for the past 4 years with my fiance, Keegan, who will also be running the NYC marathon. We've previously ran the Cape Cod marathon together and are super excited to be running our second marathon together. I'm a current MBA student, in-between my first and second year, and am interested in all things related to healthcare.
I am thrilled to be running the NYC Marathon on behalf of The Children's Heart Foundation, which funds the development of innovative new therapeutics to treat congenital heart defects (CHDs). Personally, I have someone in my family that has been diagnosed with a CHD, so this cause hits close to home for me. When considering which charity to support, I couldn't think of a better cause to support.
