I am back at it after a 3 year break and I am ready to run my first half marathon in California! This time I will be running the Disneyland Half Marathon and raising money for The Children's Heart Foundation to help them with their research. Why I Run for CHD Research

The Children's Heart Foundation  is the leading organization dedicated to funding congenital heart defect research. Congenital heart defect, one of the most common types of birth defects.

These defects - which are problems with the structure of the heart - when a baby's heart doesn't develop normally during pregnancy.
