I am unbelievably grateful and honored to be running the 2025 NYC Marathon with The Children's Heart Foundation.
As some may already know - TCHF is an organization very close to my heart (no pun intended). I was born with a congenital heart defect (the #1 most common birth defect in America) known as pulmonary valve stenosis. I am lucky enough to have lived a totally normal, full, athletic life, and am extremely grateful to the researchers and cardiologists that have helped make that possible over the past 26 years.
I run for anyone who has not been as fortunate as I have, and for those affected by CHDs in the future. Money raised by The Children's Heart Foundation goes directly to funding medical research and progress for CHDs, and I am proud to be a NY Marathoner with such an important organization.
