The Childrens heart foundation has a very special place in our hearts. Our youngest daughter Molly Grace was born in October 2023 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). HLHS is a congenital heart defect where the left side of the heart is not developed and cannot deliver blood to the body. Molly spent more than half the first year of her life in CICU needing full attention of medical staff 24hours a day. During that time she had 2 open heart surgeries, countless cardiac catheterisations and more scary moments than we cared to count. Thanks to the incredible work of the doctors and nurses and Mollys unwavering fight we were finally able to bring her home to her brother and sister when she was almost 7 months old.

1-100 babies born are born with some form of CHD, not all of them are as lucky as Molly. The Childrens heart foundation fund life saving research into diagnosis and treatment of Congenital Heart Defect and I am honored to be able to support them in there mission. Mollys journey is not over, we know she needs at least one more surgery and she will live with this condition forever. If she can fight for us, we will always fight for her.

I run for the warriors like our Molly, I run for the angels and I run for the familys that dont even know they need the community that is waiting for them yet.
