I’m running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Children’s Heart Foundation—because this race is about more than just crossing a finish line - this journey is about heart and I’m honored to run for something bigger than myself.

Congenital heart defects (CHDs) are the most common type of birth defect, affecting nearly 1 in 100 babies born in the United States. It’s a cause that hits close to home for me, as I’ve seen the impact congenital heart defects can have on loved ones and their families - to include our very own. The strength, courage, and resilience of heart warriors inspires me every day—and they’ll be on my mind every mile of this journey.

Running another marathon before I turn 40 has been a personal goal, but doing it in support of a cause that matters so deeply makes it even more meaningful. There’s no better place to chase this goal than through the five boroughs of New York—surrounded by determination and the energy of a city that never quits.
