I am getting involved with ENGAGE at CityTeam because of the great stuff that I have that happens at Cityteam and I want to get involved on a deeper level. I have heard stories from men who have gone through the recovery process and learned about how God transformed their lives, worked in their kitchen serving meals to the homeless, sorted and packed food to go out to families in need, put together and passed out backpacks full of school supplies for families who can't afford them, and much more.

I am doing this not only because I want to support the ministries that they do, but also because I want the get the full-immersion experience of Engage, connecting with real people in real struggles and hearing real stories about how the issues of poverty, addiction and homelessness are being addressed in San Jose. I want to learn about being a part of real solutions!
