On Saturday, November 7th, I will join a group from my church to visit Cityteam Ministries, a nonprofit organization that operates homeless and low income relief and shelter operations here in San Jose.
"...love thy neighbor as thyself" Matthew 22:39
When Jesus issued this commandment under the new covenant, there were no asterisks or exceptions. He does not exclude the homeless or the needy, or even the addicts. On the contrary, these are the neighbors who need our love most. Please join me in showing love to those who really need it.
