I have lived in San Jose, California my entire life and over the years I have seen the homelessness in our community grow larger and larger.  I've wondered what could have occurred in their lives to get them to where they are today. Often on a cold winters night I think how cold I am in my house and then I think about how cold the homeless must be when they are out in the openness of the night. 

On November 7th, I along with other members of Bernal Church will have an amazing opportunity to learn how people’s lives change from the worse situation in one’s life and then with the help of City Team Ministries and the prayers of many people, they manage to create a life meaning once again. You can help make a difference in the lives of the homeless by make a donation on my page.

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you"—when you already have it with you.

Jesus said "that you've done it unto the least of these; you've done it unto Me".  By raising support for the work at City Team Ministries, we actually get a chance to not only help someone in a tangible way, but we get to do something "unto Him" as well!  By taking from what God has blessed us with and using it to the benefit of someone less fortunate at the moment than we are, is a wonderful way to show God to others.  Join me in this endeavor to touch the lives of people in need and see the Hand of God at work.  That is my challenge to you, so, "who so ever will, may come"!!
