You know, it's funny...I never thought of myself as having a silver spoon. Never thought I was rich or well off by any stretch. I always had something I felt like I had to do without that made me envy what my neighbor had. You come to realize what you really have when you meet those who are truly in need.
When CityTeam was introduced to me, I couldn't help but break for the people they're helping. Their aim is to help the homeless, the addicted, the families who desperately need hope. This ministry has had such a tremendous impact on this city, and I'm so excited to be part of it.
What I would ask of you today is that you consider joining me in giving towards this cause. My fundraising goal is $200 dollars by February 20th. It's a goal that I know we can reach and one that can make a very real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
